The BRSN team selects one Cornell athlete each week whose performance stood out among their peers both within the Cornell athletic community and the Ivy League.

RELEASE: ITHACA, NY — Junior forward Nia Marshall has been named the BRSN Athlete of the Week. Heading into Friday night’s tilt against Dartmouth, Marshall sat at 11th on the all-time Cornell career points list, yet jumped all the way up to eighth with a game-high 22-point performance. In addition, she posted 16 points and nine rebounds on Saturday at Harvard to become just the second player in Big Red history to amass over 1,200 points, 500 rebounds, 100 assists, 100 steals, and 50 blocks. Marshall also improved to 401 points on the year, now only the third player in program history to record consecutive 400-point seasons.
